MCOF Meeting on Saturday, Dec. 07, 2002, at Ice House

There will be a general meeting of the Morgan County Observatory Foundation held on Saturday, December 7th at 10 AM upstairs at the Morgan County Public Library. Elections will be held to fill 3 board positions open due to expired terms. Candidates must be current members of the Foundation as of Saturday before the meeting. All current members are allowed to vote for candidates for each position. If anyone is interested in taking a more active role in helping MCOF by serving on the Board of Directors, please contact me before the meeting. Candidates will be announced at the meeting. The Board of Directors meets monthly to conduct the daily business of MCOF.

The speaker from our last Star Show, Mark Klosinski of the JPL Solar System Ambassador program, is offering the Foundation astronomical calendars for 2003 at $18.50, discounted from the $24.00 retail price. MCOF Meeting on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, at Ice House

There will be a meeting of the Morgan County Observatory Foundation this Saturday at 2 PM at the Ice House in downtown Berkeley Springs. The tentative agenda will include: Minutes from last meeting, Financial Report, Fundraising, Programs, Apple Butter, Construction, Website, Operations agreement.
